Kaun banega crorepati's (KBC) "Doosra Mauka" for acid attack victim Sonali Mukherjee

The acid attack victim Sonali Mukherjee from Jharkhand is about to come in the Kaun Banega Crorepati season 6 to gain some money for her re-custructive surgery.

BigB had put some pictures of the episode on his facebook page album (Photo1, Photo2, Photo3). After 22 surgeries she can now hear and speak after 4 years of the tragedy. BigB writes on FB on 1st Nov 2012, 

"FB 14 - Much too disturbed by the event at KBC of 'doosra mauka' .. a second chance for those that have been unfortunate victims of trauma and violence ... a young girl robbed of her entire body and youth by an acid attack on her .. her face destroyed, lost her eyes, lost her hearing, lost her voice for 4 years .. 22 reconstructive surgeries later, she can now speak and hear ... full of grit and determination to seek not just justice, but to become an example of faith and strength for others that get inflicted with such atrocities .."

They that inflict such damage are not humans ..".

After this he adds this with a photo of the show that contains Sonali, Lara and Him, "FB 14 - Look what those monsters did to this pretty face ... and destroyed her for life .. Sonali Mukherjee the victim of an acid attack . Lara Dutta who works for the cause of such women afflicted, by her side to assist her .."

Showing a photo of Sonali's distracted face he adds, "FB 14 - More of Sonali on KBC tonight for the episode on 'doosra mauka' ...the screen at the back shows a graphic picture of her after recovering with great grit after the attack .. damaged and deformed, but full of courage to fight this oppression and to try and live as normally as possible ... 22 sugeries done to repair, can hear and talk now but cannot see .. the perpetrators of the crime out on bail and back into society .. horrendous !!"

Sony TV and Big Synergy are approaching Lara Dutta to play the game for her. This will be second time for Lara to represent herself in KBC. Earlier she has come in a episode with tennis sensation Sania Mirza.

Kudos to KBC again for playing a great role for a cause.

The role in Crime Patrol was played by Veebha Anand

After playing the role of sonali in the episode, veebha still can not get over the character. She says,

"When I went for the auditions for the same, I was shocked and terrorised and was not in the position to give a nod for the role. But as an actress I felt, I should take it up." 

She reveals the time when shooting was started, 

"The makeup man came to me to take my face structure. After that i had to sit for few hours with that terreble mask. Though I had to sit at single place without moving any of my facial parts. That was really tough fir me and I was feeling like sitting in a dark room with no-one with me."
