Gurnam (real name Jarnail Singh), a domestic worker employed by Balraj Singh (real name Avtar Singh), was tragically killed by four thieves (real names: Karamjit Singh, Sukhwinder Singh, Satgur Singh, and Paramjit Singh) during a robbery attempt at the residence. The criminals attempted to steal cash and jewelry from the house.
Balraj, a grain trader from Kanjhla, Punjab, and his wife are actively searching for a suitable groom for their daughter, Shagun (real name Manpreet Kaur and played by Ashmita Bakshi). However, Shagun was involved in a romantic relationship with Charan Singh (real name Gurmeet Singh), a mobile shop owner belonging to a lower caste. Opposed to their relationship, Balraj and his wife used threats and coercion to force Charan Singh to leave town.
