What You See In The Mirror | आइना
Bina (played by Pyumori Mehta) is the mother of a young girl named Pragati (played by Shriya Popat). After divorcing her husband when Pragati was eight years old, Bina begins living separately with her daughter.
Several years later, Bina meets Iqbal and falls in love with him. Iqbal is already married and the father of two daughters, but he decides to leave his first wife and marry Bina. After their marriage, he moves in with Bina and Pragati.

Over time, Pragati tells her mother that Iqbal often behaves inappropriately with her and makes her uncomfortable. She claims that he tries to touch and harass her. However, Bina refuses to believe her daughter and assumes that Pragati is making up stories because she does not want to accept her stepfather.
Other people also warn Bina about Iqbal’s character and behaviour. Even Bina’s sister Rashmi shares her concerns about him, but Bina ignores every warning and continues to trust Iqbal.

One day, Pragati leaves behind a letter stating that she can no longer tolerate the situation and intends to end her life. Shocked by the letter, Bina confronts Iqbal and questions him about the allegations.
Once again, Iqbal manipulates Bina into believing that all the accusations are false. Convinced by his explanations, Bina sides with him and scolds Pragati instead of listening to her daughter’s fears.
The episode highlights the devastating consequences of ignoring warning signs and failing to protect vulnerable children. It explores themes of trust, manipulation, denial, and the importance of believing victims when they speak out.
