Mardaani: Child Trafficking Gang busted by IPS Meeran Borwankar (Crime Patrol Dial 100 Episode 45, 15 December, 2015)

The story is based on IPS officer Meeran Borwankar who is currently designated as Police Commissioner of Pune. Borwankar is the first-ever woman to posted as Commissioner of Mumbai Crime Branch. Borwankar hails from Fazikla, Punjab, and did matriculations from DC College, Fazilka.
After that, she completed her Master's Degree in Literature from Lyallpur Khalsa College and did PG from DAV College. Her father Mr. O P Chaddha was working with BSF till 1971 in Fazilka.
