Anjali is a mother of two kids Smriti and Ankit. She lives in the slum area of Mumbai and her mother's home is located in the same vicinity where mostly she spends her most of the time. A day she returns from her mother's home to her home alone leaving her kids at mother's home. After a few minutes, her kids also come back to their home and finds their mother in a pool of blood. Her throat is slit and she is dead. They immediately call their granny and Mausi Arpita.

Police investigation reveals that Anjali's elder sister is an unmarried woman who is having an affair with a guy of a different cast. Crime Branch team finds some crucial evidence at the crime spot on the basis of which they start questioning an old age taxi driver who lives near Anjali's home.

ये घटना महाराष्ट्र के ठाणे जिले के कोपरी इलाके की है। मरने वाली महिला का नाम राखी शेजवाल था जिसकी गाला काट कर हत्या कर दी गई थी। वो २ अक्टूबर रविवार का दिन था जब राखी अपनी माँ के घर से अपने घर अकेले पहुंची थी। उसकी माँ का घर में वहीँ पास में था जहाँ वो अक्सर जाया करती थी। उस दिन भी वो माँ के घर से निकलते समय अपने चार साल और दो साल के दोनों बेटों को वहीँ छोड़ के आई थी और अपने घर पानी भरने के लिए आ गई थी।
राखी का घर वीर शम्भाजी चाल में था जहाँ की वो पहली मंज़िल पे अपने पति राहुल और दो बच्चों के साथ रहती थी। राखी की लाश को सबसे पहले उसके चार साल के बेटे ने देखा जो की राखी के घर लौटने के कुछ समय बाद डेढ़ बजे अपने दो साल के भाई के साथ नानी के घर से अपने घर पे वापस आया था। वो जब घर के अंदर पंहुचा तो उसने देखा की राखी बाथरूम में पड़ी है और उसका गाला कटा हुआ है जिससे की खून निकल रहा है।
