Sonica Handa's birthplace is Lucknow, UP and she
did her schooling from CMS. Her movie debut was with
Janani (2006) and TV debut was
Rahe Tera Ashirwad (2008) but she is mostly known for the role
of Amla in Colors TV's Uttaran. Apart from that she has been a part of TV serials
Shobha Somnath Ki, Swaragini, Kabhi Saas Kabhi Bahu and
Do hanso Ka Joda.
Her favorite actors are Shahrukk Khan and Ajay Devgan. In 2012 she got married
with Mehul Ruparelia.
