Abhay has developed an addiction to online video games. Despite being very intelligent and performing well in the past, his grades have started to decline in his current class. One day, when his father is out of town on a business trip, Abhay's class teacher complains to his mother during a parent-teacher meeting that Abhay's grades are consistently getting worse and he is not paying attention to his studies.

Abhay's mother becomes so angry with him that one day she hits him and takes away his mobile phone. Abhay repeatedly asks his mother to return his phone, but she refuses to give it back. Abhay doesn't seem to realize the severity of his mistake and is so obsessed with the game that he can't even stop thinking about it when it comes to harming his mother.

On the night of January 24th, with the help of a knife and a flowerpot, Abhay brutally murders his mother and younger brother and steals some money from the house before running away. The police suspect Abhay from the beginning because at the time of the murder, there were only three people in the house, two of whom were killed and the third, Abhay, was missing.
अभय को ऑनलाइन वीडियो गेम्स का की लत लग गई है। कभी बहुत मेधावी रहे आईएसएसए बच्चे के क्लास में मार्क्स भी अब कम आने लगे हैं। एक दिन जब उसके पापा अपनी बिज़नेस ट्रिप पर शहर से बाहर गये हुए हैं, उसकी पैरेंट्स टीचर मीटिंग में उसकी मम्मी को बुलाया जाता है। मीटिंग के दौरान उसकी क्लास टीचर उसकी मम्मी से अभय के बारे में शिकायत करती हैं और बताती है की अभय के नंबर दिन पर दिन कम होते जा रहे हैं। वो पढ़ाई पर अपना ध्यान नहीं दे रहा है।
अभय की मम्मी को उस पर इतनी अधिक ग़ुस्सा आती है की एक दिन वो अभय को मारती भी हैं और उससे उसका मोबाइल छीन लेती हैं। अभय बार बार अपनी मम्मी से अपना मोबाइल माँगता है मगर वो उसका मोबाइल उसको वापस नहीं करती हैं। अभय को अपनी गलती का ज़रा सा भी एहसास नहीं है। उसके अंदर गेम का इतना अधिक ऑब्सेशन हैं की उसके मन में अपनी मम्मी को भी मारने से भी पीछे नहीं हटता है। २४ जनवरी की रात अभय एक चाकू और एक गुलदस्ते की मदद से अपनी माँ और छोटे भाई की बेरहमी से हत्या कर के और घर से कुछ पैसे चुरा कर भाग जाता है।
पुलिस को शुरू से ही अभय पर शक है क्यों की जिस समय हत्या हुई, उस समय घर में सिर्फ़ ३ लोग थे जिन मे से २ की हत्या हुई और तीसरा यानी की अभय घर से ग़ायब है।

The incident that occurred in 2022 shook the entire nation. This event took place in June 2022 in Yamunapuram, under the jurisdiction of the PG Thana (police station) in the capital of Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow. Here, Sadhna, a 40-year-old woman, lived with her 17-year-old son and 10-year-old daughter.
Sadhna's husband, Navin Singh, was an Army officer based in Kolkata. Sadhna's son had developed a troubling habit of playing PUBG (PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds) excessively, causing distress to his mother. When Sadhna tried to discourage him, it often led to arguments. However, being a mother, Sadhna always tried to keep him in check.
Frustrated by the ongoing arguments and distressed over her son's behavior, one day, Sadhna resorted to extreme measures. She took her father's licensed revolver and shot her younger sister in front of her son, committing murder. Not only that, after the incident, she locked her sister's body in another room, threatening her son that she would harm him too if he disclosed the matter to anyone.
After killing her mother, she hid Sadhna's body in their home for three days.
As the odor from the body began to spread, she started using room fresheners.
She told her neighbors that her grandmother was ill, and she had gone to her
uncle's house. When the strong odor became increasingly noticeable, she called
her father and informed him that someone had killed her mother.
