8th grade student Sumit wants to have a mobile phone like his friends, and he keeps requesting his parents for it every day, whether in the morning or evening. However, his parents clearly tell him that he will get a mobile phone like his elder brother Amit only when he scores good marks in his 10th grade exams. One day, Sumit looks very happy, and his friends and brother are surprised to see him so excited. Amit asks him why he is so happy, but Sumit only tells him that he is going to get a mobile phone. After returning home, Sumit does not join his family for lunch and goes out straight away.

By 8:30 pm, Sumit, who has been missing since noon, has still not returned home. Worried, his parents, brother, and maid go to the police. The police suspect it may be a case of kidnapping because it seemed like Sumit had gone out to meet someone. The investigation begins, and then Sumit's father receives a call from someone demanding 25 lakh rupees as ransom to release Sumit. The police help Sumit's parents to avoid the kidnapper taking any wrong step, while Sumit's father arranges the money.

The police also check the CCTV footage of the past few days and identify Irfan, who works at a salon in the area, from the footage. They arrest Irfan and interrogate him, but he denies having Sumit and tells them that Sumit's friend Mustaq has him, who also works at the salon.

8वीं कक्षा का छात्र सुमित अपने दोस्तों की तरह एक मोबाइल फोन रखना चाहता और हर दिन, सुबह हो या शाम अपने माता-पिता से अनुरोध करता रहता है। मगर उसके माता-पिता ने उसे स्पष्ट रूप से कहा कि जब वह 10वीं की एग्जाम में नंबर लाएगा तो उसे अपने बड़े भाई अमित की तरह एक मोबाइल फोन मिलेगा।

एक दिन सुमित पूरे दिन बहुत ही खुश दिखा देता है। उसके दोस्त और भई उसको देख कर अचंभित हैं की वो इतना खुश क्यों है। अमित पूछता है कि क्या कारण है कि सुमित पूरे दिन से इतना ख़ुश है मगर वो सिर्फ़ इतना बताता है कि उसको एक मोबाइल फ़ोन मिलने वाला है। घर लौटने के बाद, सुमित घरवालों के साथ लंच में शामिल नहीं होता है और सीधे कहीं बाहर निकल जाता है।

समय रात के 8.30 बजे का हो जाता है, और सुमित, जो दोपहर का ग़ायब है, अभी भी घर वापस नहीं आया है। घबराए हुए माता-पिता, भाई और नौकरानी आखिरकार पुलिस के पास जाते हैं। पुलिस के अनुसार ये एक अपहरण का मामले हो सकता है क्योंकि सुमित के निकलते समय ऐसा लग रहा था कि वह किसी से मिलने के लिए निकला है। जांच शुरू होती है, और तभी, सुमित के पिता को सुमित को बचाने के लिए फिरौती के रूप में 25 लाख की मांग करने वाले एक व्यक्ति का फोन आता है।

पुलिस छिपकर माता-पिता की मदद करती है ताकि अपहरणकर्ता कोई गलत कदम न उठा लें। जबकि सुमित के पिता पैसे तैयार करते हैं। साथ ही पुलिस पिछले कुछ दिन की सीसीटीवी फुटेज भी देखती है जिस्म और सोसाइटी में सलून में काम करने वाले इरफ़ान को आइडेंटिफाई करती है। इरफ़ान को हिरासत में लेकर पूछताछ होती है मगर इरफ़ान कहता है कि सुमित उसके पास नहीं बल्कि उसके दोस्त मुश्ताक़ के पास है जो कि उसी सलून में काम करता है।

Despite extensive search efforts in the surrounding area, there was no trace of him. His family, devastated by his disappearance, filed a missing complaint with the police, prompting multiple police stations to launch investigations based on witness statements.

Finally, one evening, Abhay's father, Pappu Gupta, received a ransom call demanding a sum of 10 lakh rupees for his son's safe return. Subsequently, SSP Dr. Yogendra Yadav was informed, and a thorough investigation began. Surveillance footage from nearby areas was reviewed, and an individual who had been seen speaking to Abhay just before his disappearance was identified.
