Before 4 months sonali mukherjee- The Acid Attack Victim from Dhanbad was willing to kill herself because she was not able to overcome from her sufferings. Now Sonali has won 25 lac in Amitabh's show Kaun Banega Crorepati and want to spent all her money in her re-constructive surgeries. Along with this she want to use her this horrible experience as a help for all the victims around the world that kill hundreds of people every year and mostly the women.

Here is a good news for all the people who know the pity story of Sonali Mukherjee (Mitali Das in Crime Patrol Episodes telecasted on 146, 147 on 24th, 25th Aug 2012).
Sonali is continuously undergoing many surgeries and she is happy to see a huge support from all over the world.

In the recent interview (9th Sep) she explained IBN7 that her all surgeries will go in 9 phases and will take next 1.5 years to complete. Her reconstructive surgeries are undergoing at B L Kapur hospital and Delhi. She explains that the legal help against those guys who disfigured her face is still not satisfactory. She already appealed to chief justice but no one cares about her case.

The story begins with a press conference featuring a girl named Mitali Das (real name Sonali Mukherjee and portrayed by Veebha Anand), who demands justice from the government or death. The incident takes place in the year 2003.

The year 2003
Mitali is a talented girl who becomes exasperated when three boys from her locality repeatedly harass her. When her father and brother confront the boys, they accuse Mitali of having a bad character. One day, when the boys attempt to harass her again, other people intervene and stop them.

About a month later, while Mitali and her family are sleeping on the terrace, the three boys sneak up and throw sulfuric acid on her. Mitali's father is played by Sanjeeva Vats.
