The tragedy of Shraddha Walker's death at the hands of
Aftab Poonawalla echoes a grim pattern seen before in our country. A
hauntingly similar incident took place in October 2010 with the
murder of Anupama. Rajesh Gulati, her husband, committed a
horrific act by brutally killing her and dismembering her body into 72
pieces. This chilling narrative was portrayed by Crime Patrol in
2011.
Somesh, (real name is Rajesh Gulati and portrayed by actor
Mohit Chauhan), seeks a divorce from his wife Arundhati (real name is
Anupma). The reason for the divorce is his previous marriage to another woman
with whom he has two children, in addition to the two small children he has
with Arundhati. The court mandates that Somesh pay 20,000 Rupees per month to
his wife due to domestic violence. As the conflict between the couple
intensifies, Somesh ultimately kills Arundhati.
