Sofia Suleman (played by Priya Malik), a 19 year old girl suddenly goes missing from her home. Her father Imraan (played by Sanjeeva Vats) and brother Shahid (played by Alok Kumar) are trying to file an FIR but they are not getting any support from the police officials and the police inspector is denying to register FIR. They are abusing both Imran and his son each time by saying that Sofia would have escaped with her boyfriend on her own, no need to register FIR. Imraan comes to know that one more girl Shalini (played by Ronjini Chakraborty) was also went missing few months back in her village. He meet with his father also and he says that police did not register their complain also and his daughter is still missing. Imran is a daily wage earner who works in a factory. He is economically weak, During these circumstances his wife gets paralyzed.

After few days Imran gets a call on his mobile from an unknown number from Delhi that his daughter is in Delhi's DB Road area and she gave him Imran's number so that Imran can rescue her from thhere.

Imran goes back to Police station and tells them the story. Police inspector still don't listen to him and forces him to go to Delhi and file FIR there. Imran goes to Delhi and after telling the whole incident, police asks him to show copy of FIR that he filed at his village's police station.

The girl hailing from Mumbai's biggest red-light area, Kamathi Pura, had offers of 3 American universities for her bachelor degree in psychology. She was listed by Newsweek as one of the 25 under-25 women in the world to watch out for. The list includes women like Pakistani education activist Malala Yousafzai, who have battled adversity to become symbols of resistance and she has only just heard from New York's Bard College, who have accepted her as a student for the coming semester. They've offered her a $30,000 scholarship that covers her tuition fees for the year, as well as half her accommodation cost.
