During 1972, Anand Pillai (played by Kannan Arunachalam) was a watch mechanic and Venkatesh Nayar (played by Navin Tyagi) was his best friend. He was attracted by the trucks moving around a country liquor shop. Courageous Anand talks to the owner of the shop Shashidharan. Shashidharan likes him and gives him a job at her shop.

Time flows and Shashidharan announces himself retired and gives entire responsibility to Anand. Anand Pillai is now a key holder of the business. Anand gets marry to Parvati and later he blessed with three sons Govind, Arvind and Vasudev. Being a big don of the area he has become an arrogant person. He fights with Venkat after which Venkat decides to do business alone.

After a few years, a few more persons come to the same business. One is Kasim Kureshi and another one is Jacob Kuruville. To teach them a lesson, Anand sends two of his guys to join Kasim and Jacob's business. Finally, Anand succeeds in throwing them out of their area. Now he worrying after seeing Venkat's growing business.

Anand's eldest son Govind leaves his business because he has been targeted by enemies of her father Anand. He joins Kasim and Anand is really shocked to know this. Later Govind comes back to her father.

2006
Anand's youngest son Vasudevan is about to get marry and in this marriage Anand want to invite all of his earlier fellows. Kasim, Venkat and Jacob attends the marriage. After one week of marriage four persons comes to Anand's home and kills him.

After some times she is not able to get back her land so she decides to sell it.

Arjun and Raju are not agree with this and they kills their mother for land. They spents few months in jail then they comes out on bail. They still have no work so elder brother Arjun asks Raju to get some work in Lucknow. Raju travels to Lucknow and works as a daily wage earner while Arjun stays in the village and taking care of their land.

Time spents and Raju starts realizing that Arjun is making him fool. In the meantime Arjun sells Raju's land without asking him.

Suhasini Das (real name Linkan Subudhi) is girl from Bhubaneswar (Odisha) who gets a job offer from Delhi. She comes to Delhi to join the company. She is very happy and enjoying hi-tech and advance life of Delhi. But she is also willing to do something big in her life with the job.

His colleague Vineet brings her to his volunteer group. Suhasini is happy to see all activities by them and joins them in teaching poor people. Later Prithvi gets job transfer to Chandigarh so he makes Suhasini the supervisor of the group. During her work towards this group she gets in touch with Farah, who is a innocent girl seems to have a bright future.

Everything is going well but in 2012 Farah tells Suhasini that her mother Fauzia is forcing her to get marry with her maternal brother Nasir (real name Siraj). She does not want to marry him because she want to study more. She also tells that Fauzia is having relations with Nasir. Suhasini goes to meet Fauzia and his father and tells them not to do this because this is illegal since Farah is minor.

After one week of this matter, Fauzia and his family moves from Delhi. Suhasini gets call from Farah that her mother brought her to her maternal uncle’s home (Nasir’s father) and next day she will get marry with Nasir. She asks for help from Suhasini.

उधर मुकुंद बाबा का एक विज्ञापन लोगों को टीवी और पर्चों में लिखा मिलता है की मुकुंद बाबा कोई बड़ा चमत्कार करने वाला है जिसमे वो एक लड़की को पहले तो चिता पर जलाएगा बाद में वापस उसे जिंदा कर देगा. पुलिस तक भी ये खबर पहुचती है और पुलिस बाबा को धर दबोचती है. पुलिस बाबा से ये उगलवाना चाहती है की आखिर वो किस लड़की को जलने और जिंदा करने की बात कर रहा है.

ये एपिसोड उत्तरी कर्नाटक के ज़ुन्जर्वाद गाँव की एक घटना पर आधारित है. पुलिस के तफ्तीश के दौरान काफी सारी बाते खुल कर सामने आई की आरोपी बाबा के ऊपर पहले से ही कई आरोप हैं. बाबा के ऊपर 2013 के दौरान एक दुष्कर्म का आरोप भी लगा था. 2010 में इसने आत्महत्या के बाद जीवित रहने का ढोंग रचा था.

Victim of the case was a 24 year old photojournalist in a english magazine who was assaulted by 5 men including one juvenile at deserted Shakti Mill compound. Shakti Mill is situated at Mahalaxmi Area of South Mumbai.

Victim was on a assignment with his male colleague on that day. Her colleague first badly beaten with belt then they tied him with the same belt. They brought girl to a different place and sexually assaulted her.

In the meanwhile she was getting calls from her mother but they forced her to tell her that everything is fine. Later they switched off her phone and continued assaulting her. Also they put a broken bottle of beer at her neck and forced her not to scream otherwise they will kill her. During the incident they shot some photos of her and warned her not to tell this to police otherwise they will make these photos public.

Following the assault the men brought her back to her colleague. The brought survivor and her friend to the railway track. On reaching the tracks, they asked survivor and her colleague to walk forward towards Mahalaxmi Station, while they moved towards Lower Parel Station. When the criminal left, she informed her office colleague that she had been assaulted by five men. After their colleague came, they hailed a taxi and went to Jaslok Hospital. She called her mother also who reached hospital. After the survivor reached hospital she narrated the doctor what happened to her and immediately admitted.

On 26th August she gave her first statement to the police and got discharged on 27 August.

One more case was registered on 31st July, 2013 where a 19 year old girl was assaulted by five men at Shakti Mill. She was a telephone operator by profession. Three among five men were common in both the cases. In this case also the boy was tied and was beaten badly and girl was assaulted.

After the case registered, police arrested around 20 people and with in 65 hours they got three accused. Case was registered against total seven people and three out of these seven were common in both the cases. Two out of these seven are under 18.

Accused 22 August Incident: Vijay Jadhav, Mohd Kasim Hafiz Sheik aka Kasim Bengali, Salim Ansari, Siraj Rehman and a minor.

Accused 31 July Incident: Vijay Jadhav, Mohd Kasim Hafiz Sheik aka Kasim Bengali, Salim Ansari, Mohd Ashfak Sheik and a minor.

During initial investigation police was unable to trace Shiraz Rehman but later he was found in Thane jail.

On 19 September, 2013 police filed a 600 page chargesheet in a metropolitan court. The report on minor accused are given to the Juvenile Court. They were charged under 376(d) for assault, 377 for unnatural offense, 120(b) for criminal conspiracy, 34 for common intention and 201 for destruction of evidence.

On 14th April, 2013 Mumbai Session court awarded death penalty to three of them who were involved in both the cases.

इस केस को शक्ति मिल केस के नाम से भी जाना जा रहा है. ये काण्ड एक इंग्लिश पत्रिका की फोटो जर्नलिस्ट पर पांच युवकों द्वारा किया गया था. इन पांच लोगों में से एक नाबालिग है. शक्ति मिल एक खँडहर है जो की दक्षिणी मुंबई के महालक्ष्मी इलाके में है. पीडिता उसे दिन अपने एक सहकर्मी के साथ एक असाइनमेंट पर गई थी. दोषियों ने पहले तो उसके सहकर्मी को बेल्ट से मारा उसके बाद बेल्ट से ही बांध कर पीडिता के साथ दुष्कर्म किया.

जब उसके साथ दुष्कर्म हो रहा था उसी समय उसके मोबाइल फ़ोन पर उसकी माँ की कॉल भी आरही थी. दोषियों ने पहले तो उस पर दबाव दल की वो बोल दे की सब कुछ ठीक है मगर अगली बार फिर से कॉल आने पर उससे मोबाइल छीन कर उसे ऑफ कर दिया.

बियर की एक टूटी बोतल से उनलोगों ने पीडिता को धमकाया की अगर उसने ज़रा सी भी आवाज़ निकाली तो ये बोलत उसकी गर्दन में घुसेड देंगे. इस दौरान उसके कुछ फोटो भी लिए गए और उसको धमकाया गया की अगर पुलिस को कुछ भी बताया तो ये फोटोज इन्टरनेट पर डाल दी जाएँगी.

लड़की के साथ दुष्कर्म करने के बाद वो उसे उसके सहकर्मी के पास वापस ले आये और फिर दोनों को पकड़ कर रेलवे ट्रैक के पास ले गए. वहां ले जाने के बाद उन दोनो महालक्ष्मी स्टेशन की तरफ जाने को कहा और पाँचों लोग लोअर परेल की तरफ बढ़ गए. दूर जाने के बाद दोनों ने अपने बाकी सहकर्मियों से बोल कर अपने बॉस को फ़ोन किया और बताया की उसके साथ सामूहिक बलात्कार हुआ है. सहकर्मियों के आने के बाद दोनों को जसलोक हॉस्पिटल ले जाया गया जहाँ पर पीडिता ने सारी आपबीती डॉक्टर को सुनाई. उसकी माँ को भी अस्पताल बुला लिया गया. उनका इलाज तुरंत शुरू हो गया.

Raghunath Balram (real name Dhananjay Singh, a BSP leader) is MP (Member of parliament) from his constituency. He became MP after MLA (Member of Legislative Assembly). His wife Abhilasha (real name Jagriti Singh) is a sort tempered woman who keeps her servant and maid in a kind of castle, also he beats him badly.

Episode starts from the death of their maid Shanti (real name Rakhi Bhadra) who passed away inside their home. Raghunath files a police complain that she died of falling from the roof, but postmortem report reveals that she died of being beaten brutally.

Police starts inquiry from Poorab, a servant from their home. Abashed Poorab tells them that he is hungery and did not took anything from last 3 days. Police provides him food and then he starts explaining them a long story of Abhilasha's brutality that she used to beat them with a iron rod. Shanti was also beaten badly before the day she died.

Police arrests Raghunath because the helped Abhilasha in hiding the truth. The news spreads upto news channel and news papers. The news also read by a lady named Ankita Ahuja, who is wife of businessman Sooraj Ahuja from Gurgaon (Mayur Vihar Phase-I, Delhi in real). Ankita was a victim of Raghunath's harassment during 2004 and 2008. Ankita encourages herself and tell the truth to her husband. Later they both files case on Raghunath.

Since that was a case of Delhi where people are so aware that from the start of the incident the case was covered by media, but do you know these kinds of cases have become a usual thing in small cities and villages!

 Story of Vidya, who became a victim of five men’s lust. They kidnapped her, had fun with her, again kidnapped her and put her on a railway track and finally burnt her. The daughter of a member of the taxi driver’s union was harassed several times by local goons. After her kidnap and attack, the family filed FIR at the police station but police took it lightly. Her family still saying, the case could have been tackled if the police would have taken their responsibility on time. They never took any strong action against the men since they filed the first FIR. Police also lied that the family’s second FIR was just of molestation, not the actual crime. Police wrote the FIR was in Bangla which could not be well understood by the family.

After she burnt, when family members requested hospital doctors to allow them to transfer her another hospital, the doctor said they will not be responsible if anything wrong happens during the transfer. She was kept in a hospital that did not have a Burn Unit. According to the police, the girl was pregnant when she was burnt. Kolkata police’s initial guess was she tried to do su!c!de, but after her statement, it was revealed that she was attacked by two men who put kerosene on her burned her. She was 80% burned.

 During Feb the case was handed over to DIG, CID Damyanti Sen. Justice Dipankar Dutta also allowed her to select her own team to monitor the investigation at every stage. For your information, IPS Damyanti Sen also solved the Park Street case of a middle-aged woman who was an ex-call center employee at Kolkata (Rita Gomez Case).

रात को FIR दज करने के बाद जब विद्या अपने घर लौट रही होती है तो एक बार फिर वही गुंडे उसे उसके माता पिता के सामने एक बार फिर उठा कर ले जाते हैं. बिरजू नाम का युवक उसे फिर अपनी हवस का शिकार बनता है. जब वो बेहोश हो जाती है तो वो लोग उसे एक रेलवे ट्रैक पर छोड़ आते हैं. विद्या रेलवे पुलिस द्वारा बचा ली जाती है. मीडिया और लोगों के दबाव के बाद पांचो अपराधियों को पुलिस गिरफ्तार कर लेती है.

विद्या के घर को पुलिस सुरक्षा मिलती है मगर घर के बाहर निकलने पर उन लोगों को केस वापस लेने के लिए धमकियाँ मिलनी शुरू हो जाती हैं. विद्या के घर वाले डरे हुए हैं और मजबूरी में स्थिति से दूर चले जाने का मन बनाते हैं और गाँव छोड़ कर विद्या के मामा के यहाँ चले जाते हैं, मगर कुछ समय बाद वहां भी उन लोगों को धमकियाँ मिलने लगती है और आखिरकार विद्या पर एक बार और आखिरी हमला होता है.

एक दंपति जो की वड़ोदरा में रहते हैं, अपनी माँ के लिए एक नर्स को हायर करते हैं. उनकी माँ मुंबई में अकेले रहती है जिनकी उम्र लगभग 80 के आस पास है. नर्स के नाम राधिका है और उसको हायर करते समय उसके सरे डाक्यूमेंट्स चेक किये जाते हैं. उनलोगों को राधिका एक अच्छी लड़की लगती है सो वो लोग उसे अपने घर रख लेते हैं. राधिका अपना काम अच्छे से कर रही है मगर एक दिन अचानक वो घर से ढाई लाख रूपए लेकर फरार हो जाती है.
पुलिस इन्वेस्टीगेशन में ये पता चलता है की राधिका के नर्स के सर्टिफिकेट्स नकली हैं और उसका असली नाम पूजा है. पुलिस उसे ढूंढना शुरू करती है और उसकी बहन तक पहुच जाती है.

HIV positive Ramdas Kale, 43 is missing from Sinner. His cousin Ganesh Kale files a missing complain about him at police station. Same year another lady Nirmala Wagh is also missing from Pune. Her daughter Shalini files her missing complain at a police station there. There is a legal fight is going on between Nirmala and her husband.

After 3 years, a lawyer Vijay Tambat and his wife Suvarna Tambat sales their land to a construction businessman Kiran Salunke. During the deal, two guys tells Kiran that this land belongs to Ramdas Kale, who is missing from few months. In the deal, land is registered on Suvarna's name, but a problem arises when registrar office sees that land's papers having death certificate of Suvarna, while suvarna is alive. Being a lawyer, Vijay Tambat follows legal processes and cancels the death certificate through the court. Court also asks police to investigate the issue because someone must be killed to prove Suvarna dead.

Police is shocked of missing Ramdas Kale, and now the papers of his land deal are showing a death certificate of alive woman. Ganesh Kale is saying that land was never sold, then how it can be sold to Kiran? Where are both missing people now?

सिन्नर से 43 का रामदास काले लापता है. उसका चचेरा भाई गणेश काले उसकी मिस्सिंग कंप्लेंन दर्ज करता है. उसी साल पुणे से निर्मला वाघ नाम की महिला भी गायब हो जाती है जो की अपने पति के खिलाफ एक मुकदमा लड़ रही थी. उनकी बेटी शालिनी उनकी मिस्सिंग कंप्लेंन दर्ज़ करती है.

3 साल बाद वकील विजय ताम्बट और उसकी पत्नी सुवर्णा ताम्बट नासिक के बहार अपनी एक ज़मीन कंस्ट्रक्शन बिजनेसमैन किरण सालुंके को बेचते हैं. बेचने से ठीक पहले दो लड़के किरण को बताते हैं की ये ज़मीन रामदास काले की है जो की मिस्सिंग है. ज़मीन सुवर्णा काले के नाम पर है, मगर ज़मीन के पेपर्स में एक समस्या कड़ी होती है. रजिस्ट्रेशन ऑफिस में ज़मीन के पेपर्स में सुवर्णा का डेथ सर्टिफिकेट लगा मिला है जबकि सुवर्णा जिंदा है. लॉयर विजय ताम्बट कोर्ट से डेथ सर्टिफिकेट रद्द करवा देता है और पुलिस को कोर्ट से इस मसले की जांच करने का आदेश भी मिलता है. कोर्ट के अनुसार सुवर्णा तम्बत को मारा हुआ साबित करने के लिए ज़रूर किसी को मारा गया होगा.

पुलिस हैरान है की एक तरफ रामदास काले के मिस्सिंग होने के बाद भी उसकी ज़मीन बेचीं जा रही है और दूसरी तरफ ये डेथ सर्टिफिकेट की गुत्थी. सारा मसला है क्या? अगर ये ज़मीन रामदास काले ने नहीं बेचीं है तो फिर इसे कैसे किरण को दुबारा बेचा जा रहा है? दोनों मिस्सिंग लोग अब कहाँ है?

A Ex-Service man Rajdev Thakur (played by Kannan Arunachalam) fells in love with a girl Girija (played by Priyamvada Kant) from a poor family. Giriga's late father was servant at Rajdev's home. Near after two years the police find decomposed bodies of two men at Palval,haryana and Ghaziabad, UP. Both the bodies are written 'I am sorry' on their hand. Police is not able to get any info about these bodies. Next day a man named Waseem Rehman raises missing complain of his 2 sons Firoz and Kasim. They left home saying they are going to their friend's home for a party. Police tell them that they have buried them because they were not able to find any identity of them.

Next year in 1998 the cop again find body of a man in Delhi who was also written 'I am sorry' on his hand. During the investigation police find another body in same conditions. Next day 2 people of Mishra family reaches police station to file a missing complain of their sons Nishant Mishra and Subhash mishra. They both were sons of Amarnath Mishra.

Kuljeet's (played by Rishina Kandhari) husband Satnam (played by Vivek Rawat) who is also a father of 2 kids and a daily wage earner without owing a shop. His whole family depends on his daily wages. His wife Kuljeet is a ambitious lady who is frustrated of his husband's small earnings.

Kultijeet wants a scooty but it is not possible for Satnam. Finally, Satnam gets a contract of 2.5 lakh in which he involves 3 more persons. His family is happy now and he buys scooty for Kuljeet, new cloths for kids.

All goes well but after a few days, the same condition comes back. Bad economic conditions and daily quarrels between Kuljeet and Satnam are again started. These critical situations make Satnam an alcoholic. Kuljeet is also spending her life as before. Most of the time when Satnam comes back to his home in the evening, he finds the doors are locked. Kuljeet does not clarify what does she do and how does she manage fuel for her scooty.

A day Satnam is waiting at the same place for work where some other labors also look for some daily work, a lady named Rashmi (played by Melanie Nazareth) comes and asks him for some woodwork at her home. Satnam starts working at her home and in some time they both start feeling comfortable with each other. Satnam feels that his search for happiness is over, but suddenly day police find Satnam's body is a canal. His throat is slit and his body is all in a pool of blood.

सतनाम सिंह, पेशे से एक कारपेंटर है और उसकी जीविका रोज़ की मजदूरी पर ही निर्भर है. चूंकि उसकी कोई अपनी दुकान नहीं है, वो रोज़ होने वाली आमदनी पर ही आश्रित है. दूसरी तरफ उसकी पत्नी कुलजीत एक बहुत ही महत्वाकांक्षी औरत है जो की अपने पति की कम कमाई से दुखी है. शादी से पहले उसने बहुत बड़े बड़े सपने देखे थे मगर उसकी शादी एक ऐसे आदमी से होगई है जिसके लिए कभी कभी एक दिन की राज़ी रोटी कमाना भी बहुत मुश्किल हो जाता है.

कुलजीत बहुत दिन से चाह रही है की सतनाम उसके लिए एक स्कूटी खरीद दे मगर सतनाम के लिए ये संभव नहीं है. एक दिन उससे ढाई लाख का एक घर ने काम का कॉन्ट्रैक्ट मिलता है जिसमे तो अपने साथ तीन लोगों को और लगता है. उसकी पत्नी बहुत खुश होती है और जिद कर के स्कूटी खरीद लेती है. सतनाम अपने बच्चों के लिए भी नए कपड़े खरीदवाता है.

कुछ दिन तक सबकुछ ठीक चलता है मगर फिर वही समय वापस लौट आता है. पैसे की तंगी और रोज़ की खट-खट शुरू हो जाती है. सतनाम पीना शुरू कर देता है और दूसरी तरफ कुलजीत अपनी दुनिया में मस्त रहती है. अक्सर सतनाम जब घर लौटकर आता है तो उसे घर में ताला लगा मिलता है.

वो रोज़ की तरह नौकरी की तलाश में चौराहे पे बाकी कारपेंटर के साथ खड़ा होता है. एक दिन रश्मि नाम की एक औरत उसके पास आती है और कहती है की उसे अपने घर में कुछ काम करवाना है. सतनाम उसके घर जाकर काम शुरू कर देता है. धीरे धीरे सतनाम की जिंदगी में बदलाव आने शुरू हो जाते हैं और वो खुश रहने लगता है. उसकी ख़ुशी की तलाश आखिरकार ख़तम हो जाती है मगर फिर अचानक एक दिन पुलिस को सतनाम की लाश एक नाले में पड़ी मिलती है. उसका शरीर खून से लथपथ है और उसका गला कटा गया है.

हर माँ बाप का ये सपना होता है कि उनका बच्चा सफलता कि उचाइयां छुए और माँ-बाप कि खुशियोें दोगुनी तब हो जाती हैं जब उनकी बेटियां अपने जीवन में सफल होती हैं। 23 साल कि प्रीती राठी भी एक ऐसी होनहार स्टूडेंट थी जो कि अपने बलबूते पर नेवी में नर्सिंग कि नौकरी ज्वाइन करने जा रही थी। उसके लिए ये 4 साल कि तपस्या का फल था। पानीपत में पैदा हुई प्रीती पिता अमर सिंह राठी के खानदान कि पहली संतान थी जिसने सफलता कि इन बुलंदियों को छुआ था। दिल्ली से मुम्बई आने के बाद 2 मई 2013 कि सुबह मुम्बई में उसकी पहली सुबह थी जिसके बाद उसे लेफ्टिनेंट नर्स कि पोस्ट पर कोलवा के INHS अश्विनी हॉस्पिटल में ज्वाइन करना था।

ट्रैन से उतरने के 10 मिनट के अंदर ही एक नक़ाबपोश हमलावर ने उस पर एसिड के हमला किया जिससे उसका गला और फेफड़ा बुरी तरह से झुलस गया। प्रीती को तुरंत बॉम्बे हॉस्पिटल में भर्ती कराया गया जिसके 1 महीने के बाद 2 जून को आखिरकार प्रीती ज़िंदगी कि जंग हार गई।

प्रीती के एसिड अटैक के बाद पुलिस ने कई लोगों को हिरासत में लिया मगर उनमे से कोई भी गुनहगार साबित नहीं हो पाया। पुलिस तफ्तीश कई महीनो तक चली और इस बीच सरकार ने प्रीती के घरवालों के लिए मुआवज़ा भी घोषित किया। पुलिस तफ्तीश के दौरान ये शक भी सामने आया कि हमले का निशाना कोई और रहा होगा और शिकार प्रीती होगई।

अगस्त 2013 में प्रीती के पिता अमर सिंह ने कोर्ट में ये याचिका दायर करी कि शहर पुलिस द्वारा केस में कोई आरोपी अभी तक नहीं पकड़ा गया है सो सरकार ये केस सीबीआई को सौपे।

प्रीती के एसिड अटैक के करीब 9 महीने बाद सीबीआई ने आख़िरकार मुख्य आरोपी को ढूंढ निकला।

हरियाणा देश के उन राज्यों में से है जहाँ के कुछ गाँव में आज भी लड़कियों को दबा-कुचल के रखा जाता है. यहाँ आज भी एक लड़की की शादी किससे हो रही है और कब हो रही है, इसमें लड़की की मंज़ूरी लेना उचित नहीं समझा जाता. परिवारों को आपस में तय करना होता है और उसके बाद पंचायत की राय ले ली जाती है. अगर पंचायत प्रस्ताव पर रजामंद होती है तो शादी को अंजाम दिया जाता है.
ये कहाँ है इन्हीं कुप्रथाओं में से गुजरी एक लड़की स्मृति (एहसास चन्ना) की. 17 साल की स्मृति अपने माँ-बाप की इकलौती बेटी है. स्मृति के चाचा शादी लायक है सो उसके चाचा की शादी देसिका नाम की एक लड़की से तय होती है जो की 55 साल के हुकुम नाम के एक किसान की बहन है. देविका की मुह दिखाई के दौरान हुकुम-देविका के पिता की नज़र स्मृति पर पड़ती है. वो स्मृति के पिता के सामने ये प्रस्ताव रखते हैं की उनके घर के लड़की देविका इस घर में आ जाये और इस घर की स्मृति उनके घर में आ जाए. मतलब की स्मृति की शादी उससे ३७ साल बड़े हुकुम से करवा दी जाए जिससे की उनके परिवार को एक वारिस मिल सके.

लड़कियों के इस लेनदेन की प्रथा को इन गाँव में अटा-सटा की प्रथा कहते हैं. स्मृति को शादी के दिन तक ये नहीं बताया जाता है की उसकी शादी किससे हो रही है. और शादी वाले दिन जब वो पहली बार अपने होने वाले पति को देखती है तो भोचक्की रह जाती है.

इसके आगे जो भी कुछ होता है वो बहुत दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण है.
