Manish is a student who calls his mother for a huge amount of money. After that, he also calls his elder sister for that amount so his brother in law transfers some of it in his account. On the other hand, another girl Supriya from the same College goes missing while returning from her home after vacations. His elder brother and father approach the police for her whereabouts.

मनीष एक छात्र है जो की घर से दूर एक कॉलेज में पढ़ता है. एक दिन वो अचानक अपने माँ-पिता को फ़ोन करता है और 10 लाख रुपए की माँग करता है. एक साधारण परिवार होने की वजह से उसके माँ-बाप उसको रुपए देने से माना कर देते हैं. इसके बाद वो अपने जीजा, जो की इसी शहर में रहते हैं, को कॉल करता है. उनके पास 1 लाख 30 हज़ार रुपए हैं अतः वो उसको तुरंत रुपए ट्रान्स्फ़र कर देते हैं. इस घटना के बाद इसके बाद मनीष ग़ायब हो जाता है.

दूसरी तरफ़ सुप्रिया भी इसी कॉलेज में पढ़ती है जो की अपने घर से लौटने के बाद से ग़ायब है. उसके पिता और भाई उसकी मिसिंग कम्प्लेंट लिखवाते हैं तो पता चलता है की इसी कॉलेज का लड़का मनीष भी ग़ायब है. कुछ दिन बाद पुलिस को सुप्रिया और उसके बोयफ़्रेंड अशद की लाश एक जंगल में मिलती है.

नवाद जिले के सदर प्रखंड के पथरा गाँव के निवासी राजबल्लभ यादव की पहचान एक दबंग विधायक के रूप में रही है. क़रीब एक दशक बाद 2015 के इलेक्शन में RJD नवाद विधानसभा क्षेत्र से राजबल्लभ यादव MLA निर्वाचित हुआ था.
1990 में बिहार में विधानसभा के चुनाव हुए थे. कुल 324 सीटों में से जनता दल को 122 सीटें मिली थीं. प्रधानमंत्री वीपी सिंह रामसुंदर दास को मुख्यमंत्री बनाना चाहते थे और चंद्रशेखर रघुनाथ झा को. गतिरोध को तोड़ने के लिए उपप्रधानमंत्री देवीलाल ने लालू प्रसाद यादव का नाम सुझाया और फिर नाम पर सहमति बन गई. लेकिन पेच फंस गया. पेच ये कि तमाम सहमतियों के बाद भी जनता दल को बहुमत जुटाने के लिए 10 सीटें कम पड़ रही थीं. ऐसे में बीजेपी के पास 39 विधायक थे. एक नाम था कृष्णा यादव का. कृष्णा यादव ने पार्टी में टूट कर ली और 10 विधायकों के साथ जनता दल में शामिल हो गए. कृष्णा यादव की बदौलत लालू यादव की सरकार बन गई. राजबल्लभ यादव इसी कृष्णा यादव का छोटा भाई है.

मगर 3 दिन बाद पहेली उलझ जाती है जब गुरजीत ख़ुद पुलिस स्टेशन पहुँचती है. वो कहती है की वो ज़िंदा है और अपनी ही मौत की ख़बर अख़बार में पढ़ने के बाद वो यहाँ आइ है. वो ये भी कहती है की ये उसके पिता का ही प्लान होगा की अपनी बेटी को मृत बता दे जिससे की उसके बायफ़्रेंड को जेल हो जाए.

पुलिस अपनी छानबीन फिर से शुरू करती है और पता लगाने की कोशिश करती है की वो लड़की कौन थी जिसकी लाश उनको मिली थी.

कंचन एक बच्चे की माँ है तो की अपने पति विशाल के साथ रहती है. घर में इनके अलावा विशाल के माता-पिता भी हैं. विशाल एक साधारण परिवार से आता है जब की कंचन के पिता पैसे वाले हैं जिसकी वजह से कंचन को महंगे शौक़ पूरा करने की आदत है और इसको लेकर पति-पत्नी के बीच अक्सर नोक-झोंक होती रहती है.

एक दिन अचानक कंचन अपने 4 साल के बेटे के साथ ग़ायब हो जाती है और फिर पुलिस को उसका बेटा एक नदी के किनारे एक दुकान पे मिलता है. वो चाय की दुकान वाला बताता है की कंचन उसकी दुकान पे आइ थी और उसके फ़ोन करने के लिए दुकानवाले से फ़ोन माँगा था उसके बाद वो नदी की तरफ़ चली गई.

इसके अगले ही दिन पुलिस को इलाक़े में एक बदमाश की लाश भी मिलती है जिसको गोली मार दी गई है.

Chirag never returns after that and goes missing. His wife files his missing complaint and the police start the investigation.
