Arjun and Shankar are real brothers and Shankar is elder among them. Their sister Sujata is married and live at another place. Shankar has fine-tuning with his maternal uncles and his maximum time spends at their home. On the day of Diwali he decides to attend Diwali pooja at his uncle's home which his father does not like. But he leaves his home's pooja and attends at his uncle's home.
Sankar finds an unknown girl there and falls in love with her. Her name is Sakshi. Their affair starts and they decide to get married. Both the families are ok with this relation but after Sakshi's father comes to know that Shankar is less educated and does not do anything, he denies their relation and decides not to marry Sakshi with Shankar.
Shankar's uncles help them getting marry and they get married after running away from their homes. They start their married life in Lucknow and his uncle helps him getting a small job also. Both the families decide not to have any relation with the couple.
Time flows and 2 years pass. Shankar's brother Arjun decides to carry on his studies from his sister Sujata's home. A day his uncle's son Ajeet comes to meet them and asks Arjun to come with him. He wants Arjun will meet his Uncle and Aunty. Arjun comes with him for two days but when Sujata calls them after 2 days, Ajeet does not pick the phone. After she calls him so many times, Ajeet talks to her and asks her to give him 15 lac rupee ransom.
अर्जुन शंकर का छोटा भाई है। दोनों भाइयों में बहुत बनती है। इनके अलावा इनकी एक बहन भी है जिसकी शादी हो चुकी है। शंकर का उसके मामाओं के घर बहुत आना जाना है, यहाँ तक की वो दिवाली की रात भी अपने पिता से लड़ झगड़ कर अपने मामा के यहाँ पूजा में चला जाता है।
पूजा से समय मामा के घर में शंकर को एक लड़की दिखाई देती है जिसका नाम है साक्षी। शंकर का दिल साक्षी पर आ जाता है। दोनों का मामला धीरे धीरे आगे बढ़ता है और बात शादी तक पहुचती है। दोनों परिवारों को इस शादी से कोई दिक्कत नहीं है मगर जब साक्षी के घरवालों को ये पता चलता है की शंकर कोई काम धाम नहीं करता है और कम पढ़ा लिखा है तो वो शादी से मना कर देते हैं। उनको शादी के लिए मनाने की बहुत कोशिश की जाती है मगर वो इस शादी को राज़ी नहीं है।
शंकर और साक्षी शंकर के मामाओं की मदद से भाग कर शादी कर लेते हैं और बिहार से बाहर लखनऊ में जाकर रहने लगते हैं जहाँ उसके मामा उसकी नौकरी लगवा देते हैं। दोनों के घर वाले उन्दोनो से सारे सम्बन्ध ख़तम कर लेते हैं और शंकर के मामाओं से भी सम्बन्ध खत्म कर लेते हैं।
Abhishek Arora is a young man. His sister Komal arora lives with him. Abhishek has migraine pain problem. A day he faces a severe migraine attack. He gets admitted to the hospital and after some treatment comes back to home. Next morning Komal finds him unconscious and again brings him to the hospital where doctor declares him dead.
Doctor says it is a case of accidental death so he has to inform it to police. Police closes the case as a case of accidental death. However the case has been closed, Indore's Additional Commissioner of Police gets an Email from Abhishek's another sister to lookback the case. When Additional Commissioner of Police brings file of the the case, he is surprised to see the postmortem report of Abhishek Arora. He calls the initial investigation officer of the case and scolds him on his irresponsibility.

49 year old Meena Awasthi (played by Trishna Mukherjee) got lifetime imprisonment 19 year back in a murder case. She got punishment on basis of circumstantial evidences. The case could have been challenged in the High Court 19 years ago but no one did because no one came to take responsibility of this case, neither husband nor her father-in-law.
When Meena went into prison, she was pregnant and her son Madhav born in the jail itself and later he was sent to children's home. Now Madhav has grown up and working in a cloth factory. He often goes and meet her mother in jail and willing to bring her out of there. One of Meena's companion in jail is getting bail and she tells her about an advocate from Allahabad Court Satyaved Dixit who took her case. Meena tells Madhav about Satyaved and Madhav goes to meet him.
Satyaved goes through the entire case history and assures Madhav that his mother will soon be released.
David (played by Harsh Khurana) is a construction engineer. He and his wife Mary (played by Khyaati Khandke) have two kids. The elder one is 10-year-old Emily. They are a happy family where David takes care of all of them very well. One year ago, Mary underwent a major brain tumor surgery, and she is still recovering. She often forgets things to do. Every evening around 6:15, David calls her from his office to remind her to pick up Emily from her school bus.
David receives an onsite work opportunity from his office and has to leave for Jordan. Although he tries to deny the offer because his family is his priority, especially since his wife is not well, an unknown fear creeps into his mind. He worries about what will happen if someday Mary forgets to bring Emily from her school bus.
Despite his concerns, he eventually leaves for Jordan and makes arrangements to help Mary remember everything. He also informs his relatives about his trip and requests their assistance in supporting Mary for the next few months. However, after 10 days of David's departure, Emily goes missing between the dropping off of her school bus and reaching her society gate.
डेविड इस कंस्ट्रक्शन इंजीनियर है जो की दो बच्चों का पिता है। एमिली उसकी दस साल की बेटी है जो की दोनों बच्चों में बड़ी है। उसकी पत्नी का नाम मेरी है जिसका की एक साल पहले ब्रेन टयूमर का ऑपरेशन हुआ है। मेरी अभी पूरी तरह से ठीक नहीं हुई है और वो अक्सर चीजों को भूल जाती है जो की डेविड की चिंता का मुख्य विषय है। डेविड रोज शाम को छह बजे के बाद फ़ोन करता है की एमिली को उसकी स्कूल बस से लेने जाना है।
डेविड को को उसकी कंपनी की तरफ से जॉर्डन भेजा जा रहा है जो की वो बिलकुल नहीं जाना चाहता। उसे किसी अनजान डर ने घेर रखा है की अगर मेरी किसी दिन एमिली को उसकी स्कूल बस से लाना न भूल जाए। डेविड को हर हाल में जॉर्डन जाना ही है तो वो कुछ ऐसी व्यवस्थायें कर के जाता है की मेरी कोई भी बात भूले न। इसके अलावा वो अपने रिश्तेदार जो की आसपास ही रहते हैं उनको बोल के जाता है की वो मेरी का ध्यान रखें।
आखिरकार डेविड जॉर्डन निकल जाता है और उसके जाने के दस सीन बाद ही एक शाम एमिली घर नहीं पहुचती है। सीसी टीवी फुटेज ये दिखाती हैं की एमिली बस से उतरी थी और अपनी सोसाइटी गेट की तरफ जा भी रही थी मगर वो गेट के अंदर नहीं पहुंची।
The police find a burnt body that was set on fire recently, still emitting flames. Meanwhile, in the same area, two brothers named Fazal and Sajid are looking for their elder brother Imran, who is missing. Imran used to live separately with his third wife, Rabia, and currently, there's no news of either Sabiha or Imran.
The police ask them to have a look at the burnt body. Fazal and Sajid's father identify the body as that of Imran's. The police then begin their investigation and start searching for Rabia.
Mukesh and his mother Shanti, who lived alone in their house, are murdered. During the investigation, it is discovered that Mukesh was married to Shanta, but his in-laws took her away because Mukesh was responsible for Shanta contracting HIV.
Police investigation reveals that Mukesh had a friend, Harish, whose bad influence led Mukesh into contracting the disease. The police begin searching for Harish.
